Day 01 :- Kolkata – Arrival –Local Tour to Victoria Memorial -Indian Museum -Tagore House

Pick up from railway station/Airport and check-in to hotel. Later, you will have local sightseeing of Kolkata . Then you will cover Victoria Memorial / Indian Museum /Tagore House . Have dinner and over night in Kolkota .

Day 02 :-Kolkata – Local Visit to FoKuang Shan Calcutta Buddhist Centre, Mother Teresa Home, Mullik Ghat Flower Market – Kalighat Kali Temple

After breakfast, you will cover Fo Kuang Shan Calcutta Buddhist Centre , Mother Teresa Home , Mullik Ghat , Flower Market and Kalighat Kali Temple . Return back to hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay in Kolkota.

Day 03 :-Kolkata - Bodhgaya (400 KM /8 Hrs)

After breakfast drive for Bodhgaya . Check-in to the hotel.

Note – Can opt for flight or overnight train for Bodhgaya.

In evening enjoy Sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Lord Buddha Temple also called Mahabodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree under which Gautama Buddha got enlightenment .

Day 04 :-Bodhgaya- Local Tour to Dungeshwari Caves (12 KM, 30 Min) –Half Day Meditation Session

After breakfast visit Sujata Village Temple where Lady Sujata offered Kheer to Gautama Buddha and Dungeshwari Cave Temples also known as the Mahakala Caves. Lord Buddha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya.

Later, enjoy half day meditation session in Buddhist Monasteries in Bodhgaya . You can enjoy meditation in respective Buddhist Monasteries like Tiebtan Monastery , Japanese Monastery , Burmese Monastery and more.

Return back to Bodhgaya. Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 05 :-Bodhgaya– Rajgir-(75 KM, 1.5 Hr) -Local Sightseeing of Nalanda -Nalanda University (12 KM, 30 Min) –Patna (90 KM 1.5 Hr)

After breakfast, we will drive to Rajgir . Explore Griddhakuta (Vulture's Peak) , Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Venuvaranam and Bimbisar Prison. Have lunch at hotel in Rajgir.

Drive continues to Nalanda to visit the ruins of world ancient Nalanda University . It is one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies. Also cover Xuan Zang Memorial Hall which is a Chinese Pagoda.

Drive to Patna . Check-in to the hotel. Night stay at hotel in Patna.

Day 06 :- Patna –Vaishali–Ashokan Pillar at Kolhua(50 KM, 1 Hr) –Kesaria Stupa- Kushinagar (250 KM, 6 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Vaishali . Visit Ashokan Pillar - Emperor Ashoka built The Lion Pillar at Kolhua . It is made of a highly polished single piece of red sandstone, surmounted by a bell shaped capital. Then visit Lord Buddha Stupa-I: Abhiskek Pushkarn ( Coronation Tank).

Later, drive Kesaria to visit Highest Buddha Stupa of the World and then drive to Kushinagar.Check-in to the hotel. Night stay at hotel in Kushinagar.

Day 07 :-Kushinagar -Mahprinirvana Temple & Mukutbandhan Chaitya -Kapilvastu -Lumbini (180 KM, 4 Hrs)

After Breakfast, proceed to visit Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa also called Mukutbandhan Chaitya (cremation site of Lord Buddha) and Japan Temple .

Later, drive to Lumbini . Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal . On arrival in Lumbini, check in at hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.

Day 08 :- Lumbini – Local Sightseeing of Birthplace of Lord Buddha -Sravasti (225 KM, 5Hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to visit holy Birth place of Lord Buddha . Also cover Local Sightseeing in Lumbini like Eternal Peace Flame , Maya Devi Temple and Buddhist Monasteries .

En-route visit Childhood Home of Siddhartha Gautama Kapilvastu to explore Ancient Kapilvastu kingdom Complex , Monasteries and Tilaurakot Museum Complex .

Later, drive to Sravasti. Check in at hotel & have dinner and stay at night at Sravasti.

Day 09 :- Shravasti –Local Tour to Saheth & Maheth -Varanasi (300 KM, 6 Hrs)- Ganga Arti

After breakfast, proceed to visit Saheth ( Jetvanaram) & Maheth (Angulimal Caves).
