Buddhism in Lauria Nandangarh
It is found in excavations that Lauria Nandangarh had a Buddhist Stupa of late 4th Century AD. Though the dome of Stupa could not be found intact, it is visible that place was a burial of Buddhist Monks or Gautam Buddha himself (scholars vary on this point).
