7 Days Buddhist Sector Tour Package from Delhi in India

Day 01 :- Delhi -Lucknow (550 KM, 6Hrs by Train) -Shravasti (200 Km 4 Hrs)

Early morning catch train from New Delhi to Lucknow (Jan Shatabdi). You will be picked-up from railway station and driven to Shravasti . Check-in to hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel in Shravasti.

Day 02 :- Shrawasti -Local Sightseeing (Saheth & Maheth) - Lumbini (225 KM, 5Hrs)

After breakfast, we will visit Sravasti Local sightseeing like Saheth , Jetvanaram , Maheth and Angulimal Caves .

Later drive to Lumbini. Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal. On arrival, check in to hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.

Day 03 :-Lumbini - Birthplace of Lord Buddha – Kushinagar(180 KM, 4 Hrs)

After breakfast, we will visit Holy Birth place of Lord Buddha and Local Tourist Attractions of Lumbini like Eternal Peace Flame and Maya Devi Temple.

Later drive to Kushinagar . Have dinner and night stay at hotel in Kushinagar.

Day 04 :-Kushinagar – Local Visit to Mahaparinirvana Temple –Vaishali Local Tour (250 KM, 5 Hrs) –Rajgir (100 KM, 2Hrs)

After Breakfast, visit Mahaparinirvana Temple ( where Buddha took his last breathe), Rambhar Stupa also called Mukutbandhan Chaitya ( cremation site of Lord Buddha) and Japan Temple.

Later drive to Last Sermon place of Lord Buddha in Vaishali . Visit Lord Buddha Stupa, Ananda Stupa , Coronation Tank (Abhishek Pushkaran) , Ashokan Pillar , Kutagarshala Vihar.

Later drive to Rajgir. Have dinner and night stay in Rajgir.

Day 05 :-Rajgir -Local Tour – Nalanda (40 KM, 45 Min) –Nalanda University Complex -Bodhgaya (110 KM, 2 Hrs) - Mahabodhi Temple

After breakfast, visit Rajgir , the capital of the Magadha Empire and is a pilgrimage for Buddhists. The Japanese Buddhists have built the massive Vishwa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Stupa) on the Ratnagiri Hill. Explore Griddhakuta (Vulture's Peak) , Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Venuvanaram & Bimbisar Prison.

Later drive to Nalanda . Visit the Archaeological ruins of Nalanda University Complex . After the walk around the ruins, visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall, which is a Chinese Pagoda built by Chinese Buddhists.

Later proceed to Bodhgaya . Check in to hotel.

In evening we will visit Lord Buddha Temple (Mahabodhi Temple) and Bodhi Tree . Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 06 :-Bodhgaya -Local Tour to Dungeshwari Caves Sujata Village Temple –Varanasi (300 KM, 06 Hrs)

Later, visit Dungeshwari Cave Temples, also known as the Mahakala Caves located en-route to Gaya. Lord Buddha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya. There are three main caves containing Buddhist Shrines. Also visit Sujata Village Temple where Lady Sujata offered Kheer to meditating Lord Buddha.

After lunch, drive to Varanasi & check-in at hotel. In evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life as you will be taken for World Famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat .

Return to hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 07 :-Varanasi - Morning Boat Ride – Local Tour to Sarnath (15KM, 30 Min)–Drop to LBS Airport in Varanasi

Early morning, feel spirituality of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi in which you will enjoy Morning Boat Ride in the Ganges during Sunrise . Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi . Each Ghat has its own history and value. Come back to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath . Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at deer park(Rishipattana) .Other Local Sightseeing of Sarnath is the Buddha Temples , Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa , Mulagandh Kuti Vihara and the Archaeological Museum.

Later drop to Varanasi Railway Station /Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport in Varanasi.
