Tibetan monastery of Bihar
Tibetan monastery of Bihar: the Tibetan monastery of Bihar was founded in 1938, and is in very close proximity to the site
where the Buddha attained enlightenment, and where the Maha Bodhi temple now stands to commemorate the fact. There are several features
that make this monastery remarkable and worth a visit. It houses a 10 m high Dharmachakra made of metal with gold and red paint work.
It is believed that spinning the wheel thrice can provide one absolution. The monastery also stands out for its exquisite expressions
of celebrations, particularly during the festivals of Buddh Purnima and Kalchakra, which also bears audience to the gracious presence
