International Flight start from Kushinagar Airport 06th Sept ,2020 from Amar Ujala
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh is a prosperous state from the Buddhist circuit point of view. Six major sites including Kushinagar are in this state. The central and state governments are advancing employment opportunities through tourism. In this sequence, the flight will start from the International Airport of Kushinagar within the next two months. Many countries including Sri Lanka, Japan, Singapore wanted to connect by air with Kushinagar. But due to not having a systematic system, there was a problem. Kushinagar will be the fourth international airport of the state. It is a matter of pride for the entire Purvanchal.
The chief minister came to inspect the under-construction international airport at Kushinagar on Sunday. IndiGo to launch flights on Buddhist circuit from Aug 13 Jun,2019 from https://m.dailyhunt.in/
Budget carrier IndiGo Thursday announced the launch of 12 new direct daily flights on the Buddhist circuit, connecting Kolkata , Gaya and Varanasi , starting August. Effective August 8, IndiGo will commence flight operations on Kolkata - Gaya, Kolkata Patna, Kolkata Varanasi and Gaya - Varanasi routes along with additional frequency on Kolkata - Varanasi route, the airline said in a release. Bookings on these routes are open from Thursday, it added.
IndiGo Chief Executive Officer Ronojoy Dutta had during the post-Q4 earnings analysts call said that the airline is building the Buddhist circuit connecting Gaya, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.

Kalachakra empowerment postponed to 2017
The 34th Kalachakra empowerment scheduled to be held in January 2016 has been postponed by a year owing to the Dalai Lama’s busy schedule.

Myanmar seeks help to save Buddhist temple in Varanasi
Security of a Buddhist temple and monks from intruders here has turned into a diplomatic issue with the Myanmar embassy in
India seeking intervention from the ministry of external affairs (MoEF) after the district administration allegedly failed to
provide the required help.
Officials confirmed that a letter (dated December 17), written by MoEF under secretary (Myanmar section) Shweta Singh,
seeking security at the Buddhist temple near Cantt Railway station, has been received by the district administration. District magistrate Pranjal Yadav said "appropriate action is being ensured in this connection".
