Buddhist Connection Tour Package with Delhi & Patna

Day 01 :-Delhi- Arrival

On arrival in Delhi , you would be met and assisted at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel.

Day 02 :- Delhi - Local Sightseeing - Old Delhi-New Delhi

Morning proceed for a full sightseeing tour of Old Delhi which covers Jama Masjid , Red Fort & Raj Ghats and drive past President’s House and India Gate .

Also visit New Delhi local sightseeing like Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple). If have time enjoy evening Light and Sound Show in Akshardham (World’s Largest Temple) .

Have dinner and night stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 03 :-Delhi – Patna - (1100KM, 1.30 Hrs by flight) - Local Sightseeing of Kumrahar

Transfer to airport for a short flight to Patna . On arrival at Patna Airport you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel.

Explore Patna city in after lunch. Visit Kumrahar which is ancient capital of Magadh Empire. Later, cover other sightseeing of Patna like Khuda Baksh Library , Patna Museum and GolGhar.

Return to hotel. Have dinner and night stay at Patna.

Day 04 :-Patna - Nalanda - Local Sightseeing (100 KM, 2 Hrs) - Rajgir Local Visit (15 KM, 30 Min)– Bodhgaya (80 KM,2Hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Bodhgaya, en-route visit Nalanda .Visit ruins of ancient Nalanda University Archaeological Complex . After the walk around the ruins, visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall which is a Chinese Pagoda .

After breakfast, we will drive to Rajgir the Ancient Capital of the Magadha Empire and is a pilgrimage for Buddhists. The Japanese Buddhists have built the massive Vishwa Shanti Stupa on the Ratnagiri Hill. The stupa has statues of Buddha at the four stages of his life - birth, enlightenment, teaching and death.

Also visit Griddhakuta (Vulture Peak) which is another site where Lord Buddha stopped by to preach. Also visit Venuvanaram and Bimbisar Prison .

Proceed to Bodhgaya. Check-in to hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 05 :-Bodhgaya - Local Visit- Dungeshwari Caves-Bodhi Tree -Gaya(12 KM)-Bodhgaya

After breakfast, we will drive to visit Lord Buddha Temple (Mahabodhi Temple) . Explore local sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Local Sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Bodhi Tree .

The Mahabodhi Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and world famous Buddhist Pilgrimage place in India built adjacent to the site of enlightenment in the 6th century AD.

After lunch visit Dungeshwari Cave Temples also known as the Mahakala Caves . Lord Buddha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya and also visit Sujata Village Temple .

Return back to Bodhgaya.Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 06 :-Bodhgaya – Varanasi (300 KM, 6 Hrs)-Evening Ganga Aarti Ceremony

After Breakfast, transfer to Varanasi. Check-in to hotel.

In evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life as you will be taken for world famous Ganga Aarti at Dashaswamedh Ghat . Get a glimpse of the cultural diversity and social and religious activities being carried out at the Ganga Ghats .

Return to hotel for dinner and night stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 07 :- Varanasi - Morning Boat Ride -Sarnath (12KM, 30 Min)-Dhamekh Stupa -Sarnath Museum

Early morning feel spirituality of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi in which you will enjoy Morning Boat Ride in the Ganges during Sunrise . Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi . Each Ghat has its own history and value. Come back to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath . Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at deer park(Rishipattana) .Other Local Sightseeing of Sarnath is the Buddha Temples , Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa , Mulagandh Kuti Vihara and the Archaeological Museum.

Return back to hotel. Have dinner and night stay at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 08 :-Varanasi – Drop to Airport/ Railway Station for Delhi

After breakfast, drop to Lal Bahadur Shastri, Varanasi Airport / Varanasi Cantt. Railway Station to board the flight or train for onwards journeyReturn with pleasant memories of holy trip in India.
