Buddhist Tour in India from Bodhgaya without Lumbini

Day 01 :-Arrival-Bodhgaya Local Tour to Bodhgaya Temple & Bodhi Tree

Pick up from railway station/Airport and check-in to hotel. Later visit Lord Buddha Temple also called Mahobodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree.

Return back to hotel. Have dinner and stay at night at hotel in Bodhgaya .

Day 02 :-Bodhgaya – Rajgir (65 KM-1.5 Hr) Griddhakuta- Nalanda University (50KM, 30 Min) – Patna (90 KM 1.5 Hr)

After breakfast, drive to Rajgir. Explore Griddhakuta (Vulture's Peak) World Peace Stupa, Rajgir Kund, Venuvaranam and Bimbisar Prison.

After breakfast, visit Nalanda for Nalanda University which is Archaeological Complex set amidst expansive lawns with monasteries and the viharas. Interesting structures to look out for include: steps leading up to perhaps a dais for professors and stupas with images of the Buddha carved in. Also, visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall and Chinese Pagoda built by Chinese Buddhists.

Drive to Patna . Have dinner and stay at night at hotel in Patna.

Day 03 :-Patna – Vaishali -Last Sermon place of Buddha (50 KM, 1 Hr)-Kesariya-Kushinagar (250 KM, 6 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Vaishali . It is Last sermon place of Lord Buddha. The Lion Pillar at Kolhua built by Emperor Ashoka. It is made of a highly polished single piece of red sandstone, surmounted by a bell shaped capital.

Also visit Buddha Stupa-I: Abhishek Pushkarni ( Coronation tank). Later drive Kesariya to see World’s Biggest Buddhist Stupa and then to Kushinagar .

Have dinner and stay at night at hotel in Kushinagar.

Day 04 :-Kushinagar - Local Sightseeing to Mahaparinirvana Temple - Rambhar Stupa -Varanasi (300 KM, 6 Hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to visit Kushinagar local sites Mahaparinirvana Temple ( where Buddha took his last breathe), Rambhar Stupa ( cremation site of Lord Buddha) and Japan Temple .

Later, drive to Varanasi , check in to hotel. Have dinner and stay at night at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 05 :- Varanasi – Morning Boat Ride – Sarnath – Evening Ganga Aarti

Early morning feel spirituality of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi in which you will enjoy Boat Ride in the Ganges while Sunrise . Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi . Each Ghat has its own history and value. Come back to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath . Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples at deer park(Rishipattana) .Other Local Sightseeing of Sarnath is the Buddha Temples , Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa , Mulagandh Kuti Vihara and the Archaeological Museum.

In evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life, as you will be taken for world famous Ganga Aarti at Dashaswamedh Ghat (Evening ceremony at Ganga Ghat). Get a glimpse of the cultural diversity and social and religious activities being carried out at the Ganga Ghats.

Day 06 :- Varanasi –Bodhgaya (300KM–06 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya to drop at Bodhgaya Airport.
