Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhnath also pronounced Boudhnath is one of the old Stupa in world constructed just after Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha . It has great significance in Buddhist literature & Pali texts. Once you arrive here, you can see many Buddhist monks & nuns circumambulating Boudh Stupa & Chanting Buddhist Mantra. The stupa is the most popular site for Buddhists in Nepal .

Adorning it with butter lamps is a unique tradition which makes its looks amazing. It is included in UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its unique tradition.

Taragaon Museum

Taragaon Museum is cultural treasure house of cultural heritage of Valleyof Kathmandu. Most spectacular thing in Taragaon Museum is Bodhisattva Gallery which promotes and sells the best Newar art statues made through the lost wax process and traditional Paubha (statue) paintings by the best artist from the Kathmandu Valley.

Khawalung Monastery

A beautiful Tibetan Monastery near Boudhanath Stupa. It is inaugrated by Trulshik Rinpoche and Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche in October 2005. The monastery has an elementary and a training school. It consists of monks from remote region of Nepal and Tibet. There aremany exquisite Tibetan Buddhist wall paintings.

Thrangu Monastery
